Grease- 12 HSA (12 Hydroxy Stearic Acid)

12-Hydroxy Stearic Acid is the mixed fatty acid obtained by hydrolysis of Hydrogenated Castor Oil. It is a high melting, brittle, waxy solid at ambient temperatures. It should be stored away from heat to avoid deterioration. It is insoluble in water and its solubility in many organic solvents is also limited. It is a non-toxic, non-hazardous material. It is used in the manufacturing of greases.
