VISCOMAX is shear stable ethylene — propylene polymer which is designed to be used as an engine oil additive. This product is designed to formulate multigrade gasoline and diesel engine oils meeting the most stringent specifications set by SAE. It is particularly useful to blenders located in remote areas or where climate conditions require the use of polymers with outstanding handling properties.

VISCOMAX is a unique low-viscosity emulsion based on ethylene and propylene copolymers in a carrier fluid.

Storage, Handling & Toxicity

Recommended maximum handling temperatures – short term storage and transfer 130 °C and long-term storage 80 °C. For specific safety, handling and toxicity information, please refer to the current Material Safety Data Sheet available from the company.
