CHEMPOL 5026 is a shear-stable amorphous Ethylene-Propylene copolymer intended for use as Viscosity Index Improver when formulating multigrade crankcase and industrial oils. It is a unique low viscosity emulsion based in a hydrotreated or hydrocracked carrier fluid. It has good low-temperature performance when combined with a suitable pour point depressant and gives superior pour point results.
